CampusKroy is a university student marketplace accessible via our Android mobile application (com.campuskroy.app) and website (campuskroy.com). This policy explains our data collection, usage, and safeguarding procedures in compliance with the Google Play Developer Program policies.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the data needed to operate the marketplace safely:
- Personal Info: Name, personal email, institutional university email (for student badge verification), and phone number (for buyer inquiries).
- Marketplace Content: Product descriptions, prices, categories, and photos uploaded for ad listings or lost-and-found notices.
- Device & Push Tokens: Firebase/Expo push notification tokens to deliver transactional alerts.
- Diagnostics: Anonymous crash reports for app stability and bug resolution.
Non-Collection Notice: We do not collect credit/debit card numbers, bank details, biometric data, or real-time continuous GPS tracking.

4. Android Device Permissions
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES: Requested only when attaching photos to a listing. Unselected photos are never accessed.POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required on Android 13+ for inquiry alerts. Can be disabled anytime in system settings.INTERNET: Standard network access to connect with CampusKroy servers.
5. Zero Advertising & Data Sharing
CampusKroy never sells, rents, or shares personal data with third-party advertisers or data brokers. We do not embed ad-tracking networks or behavioral trackers. Third-party infrastructure is strictly limited to essential services (Google Identity, Firebase, Cloudinary, Resend).
6. Data Security
All network transmissions are secured via TLS 1.3 encryption. Passwords are salted and hashed using bcrypt. Access tokens are stored inside secure mobile storage.
7. Account & Data Deletion (Play Store Mandate)
Users have the unconditional right to delete their account and eradicate all personal data via:

Web / Email Request: Email us at hello.campuskroy@gmail.com with subject "Account Deletion Request".
All profile records, ads, photos, and push tokens are permanently purged within 72 hours.
8. Children's Privacy
CampusKroy is designed strictly for university students aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
